Sheshanaga, also known as the King of all Nagas, is one of the primordial beings of creation in Hindu mythology. He is said to hold all the planets on his hoods, and to tirelessly sing the virtues of Vishnu. Sheshanaga is a powerful and majestic being, coiled around Vishnu in a protective embrace. All the while, Vishnu is shown with Brahma, the creator deity, emerging from his navel. This represents the creation of the universe.
