Vajrabhairava, also known as Yamantaka, is a powerful tantric deity in Tibetan Buddhism. He is considered a yidam, or a meditation deity, that is associated with the highest level of yoga tantra. As a destroyer of death, Vajrabhairava is believed to have the ability to overcome the fear of death and help practitioners attain liberation.
Vajrabhairava is often depicted sitting above the Buddha Akshobhya, who is also known as the "Immovable One." He is also accompanied by twelve manifestations of Hayagriva, each of which is represented in a different color. These manifestations are said to symbolize different aspects of the deity's power and wisdom. Overall, the figure of Vajrabhairava is revered for its ability to help practitioners overcome obstacles, attain spiritual realization, and ultimately achieve enlightenment.
