This Sidpaho Thangka, from 19th-century Tibet, combines astrological and elemental symbols. It's a teaching tool and a good luck charm, featuring a central tortoise, representing the bodhisattva Manjushri. The tortoise's shell showcases the Nine Magic Numbers, surrounded by the Eight Chinese Trigrams and the Twelve Chinese Zodiac Animals. We see figures of Manjushri, Shadakshari, Amitayus, and Vajrapani.

On the left, below Manjushri, we find the ten-letter Kalachakra monogram and protective seals. The bottom of the thangka features auspicious verses and protection mantras. The right side display the Seal of Padmasambhava above another set of protective seals.
