Hanuman, a devotee of Lord Rama, was tasked with finding Sita, Lord Rama's wife, who had been abducted by the demon king, Ravana. Hanuman had to take a giant leap across the ocean that separated India from Lanka to get to Sita. As he flew across the sky, he encountered many obstacles, including demons and divine beings.
Finally, he reached Lanka and found Sita imprisoned in a grove of ashoka trees in Ravana's palace. Hanuman comforted Sita and assured her that Lord Rama would come to rescue her. He also set fire to Lanka, causing chaos and destruction. Hanuman's leap to Sri Lanka is considered a symbol of courage, devotion, and loyalty.
